Whereas in the U.S., most gearheads are on thelookout for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, across the Atlantic, it's the new Mercedes-Benz CLA compact sports saloon that is garnering a lot of attention lately.Mercedes, which seems to have a soft spot for Spain when it comes to filming, photographing and hosting media events for its latest cars,brought the CLA to Barcelona, and as luck would have it, YouTube channel owner "WillLillo", was in the right place at the right time with his camera set to record mode.
Thanks to the traffic lights and a little bit of running, WillLillo managed to play automotive paparazzo with the CLA capturing it from several angles and even while driving on the road.
This particular CLA is the 180 variant fitted with the optional AMG styling package that affords it a more aggressive look, with power coming from a 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline unit with 120HP (122PS) and 200 Nm (147.5 lb-ft) of torque, good enough for a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time of 9.3 seconds and a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph).
The new CLA will go on sale across the world (yes, including the U.S. and Canada) later this year.
