Fiat has confirmed pricing and specification details for the all-new 500L small minivan in Britain, just before the car goes on sale. The 500L starts at £14,990 OTR for the base 1.4-liter petrol Pop Star and tops out at £18,890 OTR for the 1.6-liter diesel Lounge variant.The newest member of Fiat's growing family of 500 models is longer than a Punto supermini and as wide as a Bravo compact hatch offering more interior height than either model.
At launch, the Fiat 500L will be available with a choice of four engines, all fitted with a Star&Stop system as standard. These include the TwinAir 0.9-litre petrol (104bhp / 105PS), 1.4-litre 16-valve petrol (94bhp / 95PS), 1.3-litre 16-valve MultiJet diesel (84bhp / 85PS) with manual or MTA transmission, and 1.6-litre 16-valve MultiJet diesel (104bhp / 105PS).
All models are equipped with a 5-inch touchscreen radio, Bluetooth, six airbags, ESP stability programme, body-coloured electric door mirrors, cruise control, leather gearknob and steering wheel as standard.
In addition to the aforementioned features, the base Pop Star adds a body-coloured dashboard, alloy wheels and side door mouldings, while the Easy grade gets rear parking sensors, a soft-touch dashboard and electric rear windows.
At the top of the range you will find the Lounge model is loaded that improves upon the standard features with climate control air conditioning, 16-inch alloy wheels, side mouldings, rear parking sensors, electric rear windows, a fixed glass roof, light sensor, rain sensor, front fog lamps and a rear armrest.
Fiat says it also offers many customization options, from colored roofs and alloy wheels to aBeats by Dr Dre audio and even built-in Lavazza coffee making machine.
