Following on from the refreshed two-door Continental GT coupe and Continental GTC convertible models and their respective Speed variants, it's almost time for Bentley to reveal the saloon version of the series named the Flying Spur. The redesigned for the 2014 model year Flying Spur was teased on Monday through a sketch and a video that shows bits and parts of the exterior and interior ahead of its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show in March, though, Bentley noted that it will share more details about the car on February 20.
The makeover of the Flying Spur will mirror that of its two-door siblings with a more sculpted body featuring a flowing belt line and a new face, and a heavily revised interior with even higher grade materials, new switchgear and additional tech features.
Underneath, the biggest change is expected to be the addition of Bentley's twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 generating a maximum output of 500hp (507PS) and peak torque of 660Nm (487 lb-ft), connected to an 8-speed transmission and all-wheel drive.
Furthermore, Bentley will replace the 6-speed automatic with a new 8-speed unit on the W12-powered models.
